Frederick C. Raffetto is a partner with the Firm and co-Chair of the Real Property Tax Appeals Department. His practice is concentrated in the areas of real property tax appeals and municipal law. He has over 20 years experience representing public entities in a variety of matters, along with clients on both sides of tax appeal cases.
Mr. Raffetto received his B.A. from Lafayette College and his J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Raffetto served as a law clerk at the Firm. Following his graduation from law school in 1990, Mr. Raffetto served as law clerk to the Honorable Eugene D. Serpentelli, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County.
At the conclusion of his clerkship, Mr. Raffetto joined the Firm as an associate for several years before joining of the firm of McLaughlin, Bennett, Gelson and Cramer, where he was made a partner. In 2003, Mr. Raffetto re-joined the Firm, and in December of 2007 was elevated to partner status.
He is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association, the New Jersey and Florida Bar Associations, and the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys. Mr. Raffetto also is a former member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court and a former Drew University Adjunct (concerning the legal issues related to historic preservation).
