Melanie J. Scroble is a partner with the Firm. Her practice primarily consists of commercial real estate matters including buying, selling, leasing and financing commercial and residential properties nationwide, with an emphasis on shopping centers, retail pads, apartment buildings, 1031 exchange transactions, and commercial financing and banking including conduit loans and defeasance transactions. She also has experience with corporate, land use and residential landlord matters.
Ms. Scroble earned her B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Albright College in 1994 and received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997.
At law school, Ms. Scroble was a member of the Housing Clinic for the Center of Social Justice, assisting the pro bono representation of tenants in tenant/landlord disputes.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Scroble practiced as an associate with Jeffer, Hopkinson & Vogel in Passaic County and Ferro Labella & Zucker L.L.C. in Bergen County.
She is a member of the Passaic County Bar Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
