Lynne Petillo focuses her practice in  the Intellectual Property Protection and Litigation Department, including prosecution of trademark applications in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (including due diligence and clearance); litigation of opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; prosecution and defense of infringement claims in state and federal court; management of trademark portfolios for diverse companies in such fields as banking, apparel, restaurant services, fitness services, pharmaceuticals, construction and cosmetics; registration of copyrights for website pages, literary works, musical works, visual arts works and performing arts works, including motion pictures; review and drafting of license agreements for intellectual property; and, electronic media and domain name registration and protection.

Before settling her practice in New Jersey, she worked in Washington, D.C. for an entertainment lawyer and talent manager who represented various musical acts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bryn Mawr College, where she graduated magna cum laude and her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law School, where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Petillo also supports the Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy and Real Property Tax Appeal departments.
