Michael Ansell is an attorney within the Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Department.  He received his B.A. in Political Science and Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University in 2004.  Mr. Ansell attended George Washington University Law School and earned his J.D. in 2010.  During the summer of 2008, he served as an intern in federal court to the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, District of New Jersey.  Mr. Ansell initially began his affiliation with the Firm as a law clerk in 2009 during his second and third years in law school. 

Following law school, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Lawrence M. Lawson, Assignment Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Monmouth County.  During his clerkship, Mr. Ansell handled a variety of litigation matters including Megan’s Law, land use appeals, actions in lieu of prerogative writs, and emergent applications seeking temporary and preliminary restraints.  As part of his clerkship, he also served as a mediator in the Small Claims Division of the Special Civil Part.
