Potential of Legal Cannabis Market in NJ Gaining Attention

When New Jersey’s Governor-Elect Phil Murphy is sworn into office on Jan. 16, one of the most anticipated changes to come to the Garden State will be the legalization of recreational marijuana.  Murphy has said legalization of marijuana is a priority for his first year in office and legalization bills (which have already been introduced in the legislature) are expected to be reintroduced early in the next legislative session.

Marijuana Business Daily recently spoke to Ansell Grimm & Aaron, PC partner Joshua Bauchner for an early look at what to expect in the next year.  Mr. Bauchner was quoted about the “Green Rush” and how Ansell Grimm’s dedicated cannabis practice is serving clients.

For those considering becoming involved in the industry, a Symposium hosted by Ansell Grimm & Aaron, PC, BSC Group, Viridis Security Group, Longview Strategic, Marcum LLP, and the NJ CannaBusiness Association is slated for January 25, 2018 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
