The Real Property Tax Appeal Department handles a wide range of matters from informal negotiations with municipal assessors, to effective representation before the County Boards of Taxation, to multi-million dollar assessment appeals in the Tax Court.
Members of the Department have represented numerous municipalities and hundreds of individual and corporate taxpayers. We have diverse experience handling appeals of all types of real property, including:

- Shopping centers;
- Office buildings;
- Industrial buildings;
- Golf courses;
- Funeral homes; and
- Retail strip malls.
Our attorneys also have unique experience handling property tax exemptions, farmland assessment issues, and special purpose properties, such as laboratories and assembly plants.
Members of the Department include a former judge of the Tax Court of New Jersey who returned to the Firm after a judicial tenure of nearly eighteen years, members of the Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court, and numerous attorneys who are well versed in the area of Real Property Tax Appeals.
